Nowadays, the brain drain of professionals from their developing countries to developed countries is becoming a common practice.
Firstly, the professionals who relocate are doing so in search of a better job, more salaries, and a better lifestyle. A study in the London School of Phycology department revealed that many developing nations people are leaving their motherland searching for a better life; however, these migrating people are flourishing the lives of those already wealthy and prosperous.
Secondly, this movement will bring more challenges for the upcoming developing countries to make their economies stronger than developed nations. It is creating an imbalance in the economy and overall growth. Brain drain also affects businesses and trades.
For instance, all the qualified doctors and engineers who are migrating from less developed economy nations to the developed ones are leaving their own country to become more impoverished and dependent on other nations. Moreover, if Governments of developing nations offer more opportunities and platforms for educationally and talented people, this will not be the case.
However, accepting and adopting up-to-date technologies will enhance todays’ lifestyle of the poorer nations to a great extent.
To sum up, draining of people will result in adverse repercussions for the world economy. I hope that, shortly, if actual value, respect, appropriate salaries, and up to date lifestyles are given to developing nations by their Government, it will establish in return more job opportunities. No one will abandon their motherland.
