In the 21st Century, the World Wide Web has modified facts and figures spread and absorbed globally, but some issues are there that need attention.

Firstly, this essay will discuss the critical problems created by using the internet, and the latter half will explore feasible solutions to it.

The increasing use of the internet has formed barriers among individuals to personally meet, greet, spend quality time and create memories with families and friends. Now a day’s people are becoming more and lazier in putting efforts in real-time. Internet is serving as an escape from mixing people among each other through various web applications.

For instance, social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter have become the photo/video/information sharing and greeting platforms while some other new applications such as

Google meets, Zoom meetings, Teams meetings have become the platform for video chats, virtual classrooms, and celebrating essential dates.

Secondly, these days’ children exposed to these virtual platforms to such an extent that it has become harmful for their eye sights, nervous systems, and brains. Kids and teenagers are becoming addicted to online games and dating websites without even knowing their source.

For example, online games sometimes lead kids towards destructive mindsets, and dating sites sometimes result in fraudulent and time-consuming ones.

However, there are some solutions too to curb these situations. Government should take strict actions towards controlling online access. The legislative committee should take care that every one should be exposed to age-appropriate information only and limited access and time one should spend over it.

To sum up, websites have made our work easy to meet, greet, share, and acknowledge the information. Still, every nation’s Government and legislative bodies should take strict actions to deter the increasing dependency on the internet.
